Henize 70 N70

Henize 70 N70
Part of the Large Magellanic Cloud area but a part I have not taken before. N70 is the unmistakable Circular nebula top right. this was taken over two night to test out the New power supply box and how stable it is. The other effect of the power box was to reduce the number of cords that have to go from the top to the bottom to lessen the weight on guiding. the number of cord has reduced to two a far cry from the heavy load of the original 9. Now its fine tuning PHD2 to get the very small movement of guiding and better round stars.

I'll be the first to admit that this is a bit technical for me, Steve. Good that you had some clear evenings to get these beautiful astro images and that the system is working well for you.

I guess you dont realise you have these in your home every where 240V power boards this is just a 12V version. So far its paying dividends and the results speak for them selves, this has certainly freed the mount up no end. It look intimidating as there is a lot of wires all in the same place but its all logical.

I bet you its more complicated behind your TV or computer its just finding the right 12V equivariant. Love this area of the sky so many different and wild shapes out there.
