Rangitoto & Frank the beach comber

Rangitoto & Frank the beach comber
As I was taking these photos at the end of the day in the Long shadows of the setting sun. Frank came up to me and said he had never had his photo taken.

I left this and the photo I took of Frank with my niece to print out and send to the address he wrote out.

Gudrun, , aNNa schramm, Erhard Bernstein and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

He was looking for shells or bits of shells that he uses for Applica work but his bag on his bag was full of plastic which is never a good sign. He does this every day from where we are well over a mile to his home as he has walked the beaches.

There is such a lot to see for a very small island I dont think you have really see NZ till you have seen the South Island the Majesty of the Mountains. Its a night mare with all the certs at the moment to get to NZ I would wait a bit for it to settle down.

A panorama to wander around in, as usual even better seen large. I have always wanted to visit Rangitoto but never got around to it on my NZ visits.
