Garter Snake

Garter Snake
When my daughter was 10 years old, she brought a small garter snake to the backdoor and asked, 'can I please have this snake in my bedroom?' I let her keep it in a bucket overnight in the hallway and we put it back outside the following morning.

Thank you, Ron. I was very lucky to have spotted it sitting about three feet of the ground, motionless. I was only two ft. away when I first noticed it.

Danke, Klaus. Diese Schlangenart ist vollkommen harmlos. Es gibt in Michigan nur eine Giftschlange und das ist die "eastern massasauga rattlesnake", die aber sehr selten geworden ist in Michigan und auch nur noch in den unberuehrten, staatlichen Waeldern vorkommt.
