A bridge between two worlds

A bridge between two worlds
International bridge connecting Michigan with Ontario, Canada. A symbol of discord these days.
Since our president has alienated our closest friend and aly - Canada - the relationship has been strained. This bridge is one of the most connections between the two countries for shipping goods and it has been part of my life for 53 years. My husband's mother was Canadian and we still have many cousins living there.

You are lucky to have been there then, Ron. We haven't crossed the bridge in a couple of years. We used to spend a few days in Sarnia in a hotel by the harbor with our closest friends, now both deceased, for many years at the beginning of the freighter season.

Eine wunderbare Aufnahme/ Bearbeitung, Doerthe,
aber eine traurige Geschichte dazu. Man kann nur hoffen, dass diese irrlichternde Person das Amt eines Praesidenten nicht wieder erlangt!
