The migration is beginning.


Today was a phenomenal discovery day for me. Right now is the time the Monarchs are gathering at Pointe Pelee, at the southernmost tip of Ontario, Canada, bevor they migrate to Mexico. We drove 104 miles today, to Port Huron and back, and while driving I was able to count 86 Monarchs flying by our car, all in the south-easterly direction. These two I photographed by the lighthouse although there were many that flew by me.
