Canadian shore of St. Clair River

This area is called Chemical Valley. It is the largest concentration of refineries and chemical plants in all of Canada. On the Michigan shore are homes that were built before the Canadian shore was developed, but the homes in Michigan are the recipients of the exhaust fumes from the chemical plants when the wind comes out of the east.
