Doerthe club has replied to volker_hmbg clubDiese sehr kleinen Taucherenten sind vor zwei Jahren im arktischen Winter bei uns zu tausenden ueber diesen Fluss geflogen. Normalerweise kommen sie nicht in den Fluss, aber die Great Lakes waren fast ganz zugefroren und die Eisbrecher hielten den Fluss offen. Wenn die Enten vom Tauchen wieder hochkommen sind sie inzwischen eine Meil weiter flussabwaerts getrieben. Dann fliegen sie den Fluss wieder hinauf und tauchen. Sie halten sich nie am Land auf, sie schlafen sogar auf dem Wasser.
volker_hmbg club has replied to Doerthe clubja, darum beneide ich Dich, diese vielen "exotischen" Vogelarten vor der Haustuer zu haben. Die finde ich alle in meinem Vogelbuch, aber in natura gesehen habe ich sie noch nie.
