Woo! I thought a snake was catching it. Is that the kind they used to sell as babies, painted in different colors and bought by kids? Seems like they were at carnivals, or something... I'm sure they would die within a few days. Very pleasing shot!

I've seen little turtles for sale. Their lives are too dangerous and short without that. I imagine most of them are eaten by raccoons or herons. I just remembered that I made the little floating bamboo structure as a place for turtles to sit on while sunning themselves. It has been stuck in the mud for several years now. I'm glad some turtle finally found it.
