Yes, these bald-cypress trees have very broad bases. I think it helps them live in the water without falling over. Thanks for the visit, Christa.

Yes, it is, Cheryl. In the summer we paddle our kayaks on this lake, but in winter it is reserved for migrating waterfowl.
