I presume, like most terns, it crosses half the planet twice every year, lives and sleeps on the wing and only settles down, briefly, to breed.

Thanks, Dörthe. I think I may have never seen one of these before. We took our kayaks out on the lake this morning and had a wonderful time looking at birds. The weather wasn't too hot today. Hoping you, Richard & Maggie are well.
