Osprey with fish

That is a great in-flight shot! All the years I lived in Florida - observing Ospreys -- never got a shot like this one !

Thanks, Peggy C. I can't consistently take photos like this. But I took a lot of photos of this bird and got a few good ones. I get a lot of practice on egrets here in Mississippi, too.

I used to set my camera so it made no sound; put it on setting so it would repeat as long as I held the shutter button down.
When I first started taking photos at a Sanctuary in FL, I learned quickly that I couldn't wait for a shot. I would sit across from that lake and take 200 pics in an hour -- of course, only some turned out - but was taking no chances ! Miss those birds ~
