Ich wusste gar nicht, dass es Schiffsmotore auch in Zweitakt gibt, man kennt das sonst nur von Kleinfahrzeugen und Gartengeräten.

Die Amis (auch die Russen) bauten viele Zweitakt-Diesel (zB. Detroit Diesel). In US- Lastwagen waren diese sehr verbreitet. Es gibt keine Einlassventile, aber ein Auslassventil und der Motor hat einen eigenen blubbernden Ton.
Leider gibt es den SULZER - Motor aus Winterthur nicht mehr, wurde alles verscherbelt!
