Die Bausünden von Oostende (3 x PiP)
Dem Seebad Oostende widerfuhr in der Nachkriegszeit ein riesiger Aufschwung. Jeder wollte ans Meer. Ein Bauboom begann und die Stadt erlebte bis in die Achtzigerjahre einen uferlosen Bauwahn.

Einige schöne Häuser durften zwischen den Betonklötzen bleiben, wurden aber brutal eingequetscht. (PiP 3)

Viele dieser Wohnungen stehen nun leer und sind zu verkaufen.

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Unfortunately nearly all the Belgian coastline is the same.
Usually apartments for summer, closed up in winter.
