This is "federal land", I hope the new administration will not sell it to Exxon, Disney, Sony or the like.

Fog on the Bridge - Homage to Panoramio (000°)
Panoramio R.I.P.
This was one of my first uploads to Panoramio in 2007 and my top scorer there (for whatever reason). In nine years it collected 220.406 views and more than 1.000 comments. In times it served as a communication platform. All gone and down the drain.
I have finally deleted all but 6 of 2.102 photos with a total viewcount of about 13,7 million :-/

Solitude (000°) - Kniepsand/Amrum
Kniepsand is not a beach but a slowly drifting sandbar, which made landfall about 100 years ago on the west coast of the island of Amrum.

Where I live (312°... 058°)
This panorama has been compiled from 72 portrait shots in two rows with Panarama Studio 2.6. EOS 70D with EF 70-200mm / f4L at 200 mm, f/9 - 1/400 - ISO 100, manual focus, 2 sec. timer, live view and tripod. The original jpg is 35.745 px wide and has about 100MB, this one is reduced to 20.000 px (and 40,4 MB).
Stunning details, must view in full resolution, may take a while to load, however!
I always wanted to shoot the valley in spring colors, something on my mind for years. This is my second attempt, I replaced the one taken yesterday because the sky was a bit clearer today.
