The theme for this Saturday's Self Challenge is: "A Beatles Song".
I couldn't decide which song to choose, so your challenge is to guess which songs the photos relate to.
The missing guess is : The Beatles - Ticket To Ride The Shropshire council card is my senior citizen's free bus pass.
The others are: The Beatles — Please Mr. Postman
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
The Beatles -The Long And Winding Road
The Beatles - Paperback Writer
The Beatles - Maxwell's Silver Hammer
I have thoroughly enjoyed this challenge - listening to the music and remembering what it was like to be young. ;-))

The Pierhead Building (Welsh: Adeilad y Pierhead) is a Grade I listed building in Cardiff Bay, Wales. One of Cardiff's most familiar landmarks, it was built in 1897 as the headquarters for the Bute Dock Company, and was designed by the English architect William Frame.
Incorporating a French-Gothic Renaissance theme, the Pierhead boasts details such as hexagonal chimneys, carved friezes, gargoyles, and a highly ornamental and distinctive clock tower. Its exterior is finished in glazed terracotta blocks supplied at the end of the 19th century by J. C. Edwards & Co. of Acrefair, near Ruabon in Wrexham County Borough;
The clock on the building is unofficially known as the "Baby Big Ben" or the "Big Ben of Wales".

Today's Sunday Challenge: AMUSEMENT.
This almost fully grown lamb had obviously got caught up in some goosegrass, and seemed to be asking me for approval. It will soon wear off and will do no harm. It can be a nuisance if the seeds get stuck in clothing and one brings them into a cultivated garden. It isn't called 'sticky willy' for no reason. ;-))
Galium aparine is known by a variety of common names in English. They include hitchhikers, cleavers, clivers, bedstraw, goosegrass catchweed, stickyweed, sticky bob, stickybud, stickyback, sticky molly, robin-run-the-hedge, sticky willy, sticky willow, stickyjack, stickeljack, grip grass, sticky grass, bobby buttons, whippysticks, and velcro plant.

”I’m going to fill my

With something yummy
yummy yummy yummy!”
Roald Dahl was born in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales, to Norwegians Harald Dahl (1863–1920) and Sofie Magdalene Dahl (née Hesselberg).

The 4 PiPs show:
A sign I have not noticed before. It shows the main attraction of the aqueduct and viaduct part of the World heritage site, and also Chirk Castle a National Trust property.
2 photos of a goods train crossing the viaduct. Another thing we had not seen before, although we frequently see passenger trains in the station.
A 2 carriage diesel train leaving the station.

TSC The Union Jack
|

|
|
As an exiled Scot, having left my home country when I was 12, and having lived in England for 68 years, I can say that I've never seen the Saltire flying in England, except on TV. So I have made do with The Union Jack which incorporates the dark blue background and the diagonal while cross of the Scottish flag. A noble flag indeed.
This flag is flying outside a local caravan storage area. Our next nearest flag is 2 miles away flying outside a farm shop.
Polished aluminium

We once had a rather beautiful aluminum fruit bowl which became very discoloured and pitted probably because of citrus fruit. I tried polishing it with ordinary metal polish and made it 100 times worse. It looked so awful that it was added to the recycling box. This little polished aluminum boat just get a slight dust with a soft cloth to keep it smooth.
The reflected colours come from kitchen tiles. a pottery storage jar, my jacket and a pair of yellow washing up gloves.
