There is some sand when the tide is fully out, but I agree. It's difficult to walk on a pebble beach, but at least one doesn't get sand in one's sandwiches. ;-)

Two super photos of this impressive part of the Welsh coast. I really like the view in your main image..........with the Grand Hotel living up to it's name and the Great Orm looking very beautiful in the sunshine.

Viewing the PiP really gives an idea of just how long the promenade is. It looks very clean and well looked after.

I've only been there once (for work) but I remember it being very busy, so I'm guessing you must have been up and about very early that day :-)
