A close coupling

Wow, you did get close! I love gannets and the PiP looks just fine to me, at least in the size shown:-)

We visited this RSPB site specifically to see puffins, Gudrun; having lived to the ripe old age of 77 and having lived relatively near to the coast all my life, I had never seen one.

There were puffins nesting not in burrows but in clefts in the cliff face, so they weren't close-up, but at least I saw some, and got a couple of photos too. :-)))

You'll have to go to Skokholm or zo the Farne Island then to see them closer:-)

Gosh what a good presentation for the challenge Amelia! Seen large on black the eye markings really stand out and that eye is giving off a rather piercing look. Bravo
