Love this pic, Amelia. There are a few stragglers here. I still see many swallows when I am walking in the country.

Yes Amelia, the time to fly to warmer climes is upon us, Our Starlings will be doing likewise this weekend as the gather in the town 'Toender' then leave as a huge cloud that actually eclipses the sun, Daners refer to it as 'Sort Sol' or Black Sun.

Our Black Headed Gulls are also onthe move, they'll be replaced by B H Gulls from further north, ours end up in Thailand returning here in May.

That's quite a line-up. Well taken and a good musical match.

They are getting ready to go. I saw them better when I was a child, now I only see that they are gone. Hugs, Amelia,Dany

This is fantastic! The swifts here have been gone since early August and swallows sadly don't come into our town any longer.
