Maybe auto focus might help? Not everybody likes the range finder thing. I like medium format also because of the giant focusing screens. I use a D200 with fast auto focus lens (the kit lens actually, 18-70mm) for the fast subjects. running animals and so on. My sweet Shuang even has some Nikon VR lenses. No tripod needed anymore, but pretty heavy lens. Still, a lot lighter than the Hasselblad with 150mm and monopod.
