Good news for you: we've just solved some annoying problems.
You should now be able to add photos to groups and albums without any problems.
And by the way, the unwanted photos from M. Williamson posted to your groups and albums have been removed (and M. Williamson has won a Club subscription for this inconvenience!).
For those who are interested in the reason of the bug we had: it's about a 16 bits field which should have been a 32 bits one. Overflow! Something like the Y2K bug :)))
Again, we apologize for the inconveniences you might have encountered during the week-end.
We are living an exceptional moment due to the massive arrival of new users. Some problems could occur again but we'll do our best to fix them in short delays.
Catch you soon for more news.

Vous pouvez me répondre en français s'il vous plaît.?
Team club has replied to Georges. clubBut now we saw that he is one lucky guy.:)
Thanks again team!!
Team club has replied to Hans Guenter club- take care :-)
What I like about Ipernity over the New Flickr:
1. Far less clicking & scrolling
2. Clean and simply organized, like how I would organize my work
3. Visually pleasing to the eye
4. Ease of maneuverability on most all functions
5. Ease of accessibility to all areas of this site
6. Ease of starting a group and simple and effective group functionality
7. Other than current massive uploads from Flickr, quick response from one area to another
8. Quick uploads
9. An excellent and timely response to most all inquiries to its members from the Ipernity Team
11. An effective problem resolution process
12. Ease of tracking my comments and comment of my contacts
13. Excellent photo quality on uploads
14. Great options and additional features that Flickr does not have
a. Like "Guessbook" - personable communications
b. Able to reply under contacts comments ... a big plus!!
c. etc
Only a small warning ...
Small enhancements are a good thing, but trying to be all things to all people is not, as Flickr just found out. Know your mission and keep things simple and effective ... and please, no major surprises to the congregation!!
Well done done Ipernity ... I think this will be the start of a beautiful relationship!!
Sincerely Art
I finally made the switch,...yes, another Flickr refugee!;-)
I've been trying to upload photo's but it's a bit of a 50/50 rate of succes.
Unfortunately the ammount of Mb's/month I'm allowed to upload DOES go down, even if the photo upload fails?
Is the failure to upload still a high-traffic problem?
Is there a maximum size (kb/Mb) to a picture you can upload?
As I said, Im new to this and having trouble to find my way, that's why I posted my Q's here, if there's anywhere else I should put this I'd like to hear!
raingirl club has replied to Mickey's ImageWorksIf you go to the very bottom of the page here you will see "Help & Contact". Clicking that takes you to a page with "Home", "FAQ", and "Contact Us". Click "Contact Us" and you are taken directly to a form to fill in.
I also had a learning curve for where things are here, but it does all seem to be here, just some things have a little different flow from place to place.
Hope you end up liking it.
FYI - there's a number of groups for Flickr Refugees including one called "Flickr Refugees". It's a place to post and find fellow travelers. (I was raingirl26 at flickr). If you search for "flickr" in groups they pop up. You might find "! FLICKR Transitions !" group helpful as it's all about how things are different here.
THANK YOU!!!!! (I will be becoming a club member - you have shown yourselves at the top of company owners.)
Thank you for your quick response, ipernity team.
