1) As part of the quality offensive, which our President Eric Desjours encouraged in his annual report, we continue to work on improving the linguistic and visual consistency of ipernity. We have therefore adapted the translation of the different dates. In the future we will use the following terms consistently:


2) The upload date is the authoritative time stamp for allocation in the ipernity database and some internal processing steps. It can therefore not be edited by the user.

3) As mentioned in the last newsflash, upgrading the menu button for [Gallery], to a drop-down menu has increased the space between the images in the normal layout. This makes it possible to now enable the frame options for this view as well. This improves the visual consistency between widescreen display and normal display. Of course you can continue to select the option ‘without frame’ if you prefer this.


4) The buttons [New] and [Community] have been added to the Explore menu:


[New] provides direct access to the current stream of all uploads. Previously, this was only possible via a complicated query in the general search field. When time permits, the layout of "New" will be adapted to match that of "Gallery".

[Community] leads at first only to the team blog. By the more prominent linking we hope for more visitors to the blog. In the future, the linked page can be enriched with other important content that emphasizes the community character of ipernity.

5) In the German rating portal 'Trusted', ipernity has now advanced to third place. Only SmugMug and 500px are above ipernity by a small margin. Since many interested parties are guided by ratings, it would be advantageous if you would actively help to further improve ipernity's position by submitting a rating in this portal. It would also be nice to find more recent comments from you that refer to current developments.

1) Dans le cadre de la démarche qualité, que notre Président Eric Desjours a encouragée dans son rapport annuel, nous continuons de travailler à l'amélioration de la cohérence linguistique et visuelle d'ipernity. Nous avons donc adapté la traduction des différentes données. À l'avenir, nous utiliserons les termes suivants de manière cohérente :


2) La date de téléchargement est l'horodatage faisant foi pour l'attribution à la base de données ipernity et certaines étapes de traitement interne. Elle ne peut donc pas être éditée par l'utilisateur.

3) Comme mentionné dans le dernier flash d'information, la mise à jour du bouton de menu pour [Galerie], en un menu déroulant, a augmenté l'espace entre les éléments dans la disposition normale. Cela permet maintenant d'activer également les options de cadre pour cette vue. Cela améliore la cohérence visuelle entre l'affichage grand écran et l'affichage normal. Bien entendu, vous pouvez continuer à sélectionner l'option "sans cadre" si vous le souhaitez.


4) Les boutons [Nouveau] et [Communauté] ont été ajoutés au menu Explorer :

1) Im Rahmen der Qualitätsoffensive, die unser Präsident Eric Desjours im Jahresbericht angeregt hat, arbeiten wir weiter daran, die sprachliche und visuelle Konsistenz von ipernity zu verbessern. Wir haben deshalb die Übersetzung der verschiedenen Datumsangaben angeglichen. Zukünftig werden wir einheitlich die folgenden Begriffe verwenden:


2) Das Hochladedatum ist der maßgebliche Zeitstempel für die Einsortierung in die ipernity-Datenbank und einige interne Verarbeitungsschritte. Es kann deshalb vom Nutzer nicht editiert werden.

3) Wie im letzten Newsflash erwähnt, hat die Aufwertung der Menü-Schaltfläche [Galerie] zu einem Dropdown-Menü die Zwischenräume zwischen den Posts im normalen Layout vergrößert. Dies ermöglicht, nun auch für diese Ansicht die Rahmenoptionen aktivierbar zu machen. Dadurch wird die optische Übereinstimmung zwischen der Breitbild-Ansicht und der normalen Ansicht verbessert. Natürlich kann man weiterhin die Option 'ohne Rahmen' wählen, wenn man diese bevorzugt:


4) Dem Explore-Menü wurden die Schaltflächen [Neu] und [Community] hinzugefügt:


[Neu] ermöglicht den direkten Zugang zum aktuellen Strom aller Uploads. Bisher war das nur über eine komplizierte Abfrage im allgemeinen Suchfeld möglich. Wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, wird das Layout von "Neu" an das der "Galerie" angepasst.

[Community] führt zunächst nur zum Team-Blog. Durch die prominentere Verlinkung erhoffen wir uns mehr Besucher des Blogs. Zukünftig kann die verlinkte Seite mit anderen wichtigen Inhalten angereichert werden, die den Community-Charakter von ipernity unterstreichen.

5) Im deutschen Bewertungs-Portal 'Trusted' ist ipernity inzwischen auf den dritten Platz vorgerückt. Nur SmugMug und 500px liegen noch geringfügig über ipernity. Weil viele Interessenten sich an Bewertungen orientieren, wäre es vorteilhaft, wenn ihr aktiv mithelft, die Position von ipernity weiter zu verbessern, indem ihr in diesem Portal eine Bewertung abgebt. Es wäre außerdem schön, dort mehr aktuelle Kommentare von euch vorzufinden, die Bezug auf die aktuelle Entwicklung nehmen.
