Now mornings and I are not all that well acquainted usually - but today dawned beautifully sunny and warm.

Mandi and I said that we would go early to the beach and get some rays. Before we went, Mandi put the beef on very low in the oven, to slowly roast while we were out there. Perfect.......

Well we got to the beach only to see that there were a few people who had had the same idea - but we found a good parking space and proceeded to go onto the sand this time........

The tide was coming in, and there was hardly any wind, so therefore no waves. Still as a mill pond as they say. I couldn't resist it - I just had to have a paddle..........

This is the view of the sea front - see how empty the beach is - wonderful. Those houses are fantastic, although there is one that is boarded up - it used to be a nursing home and is waiting to be redeveloped.....

How glorious is this eh. So peaceful and tranquil and even the hardy metal detector said how lovely it was.........

He hadn't found anything there neither, so he was going to go home empty handed - his dog meanwhile had had a great time running around in and out of the water.

We stayed there nearly 4 hours and it was bliss. Apparently tomorrow, the weather is expected to be the same - but we will just see how it is when we get up.
