I thought I'd apologise firstly because I know I've been rather lacking in visiting you all in the past couple of days. I find it getting increasingly harder to get back into my rhythm after Mandi has gone back. Now I feel fine, and she's coming back again in a couple of days....... LOL. I don't mean that she is hard work, cos she isn't, it's just that I like being on my own and doing what I want to do, when I want to do it and having someone here means that I can't do that - I have to consider others and in my dotage I've become a selfish old cow............LOL.

Anyway today I psyched myself up to cut the lawn, because the weathermen had said we were to expect rain for the next few days and the grass had really grown so much. So I decided that today it had to be done or else it would be so soaking wet that I wouldn't be able to cut it properly for days. Just as I was preparing to go out and do it, the phone rang and it was Ann from next door to tell me that a ''strange man'' was on his way round to cut my lawn. She meant her husband who was back from his long 500 mile walk along the Pyranees. He loves walking and has been away for 5 weeks. He's lost quite a lot of weight but he loved it. Then he told me........ he didn't take a camera!! Can you imagine that? I won't repeat what I said, but then he stuck the knife in...... ''Don't worry, I've got it all in my head and I won't forget the sight of the sunrise over the Pyranees''!!!!!!!!!! He owed me the cutting of the lawn for that news. LOL

So the sun came out and I took some photos of my apple blossom. I am so lucky to be able to look out of my lounge window and see this glorious apple tree which is so full of gorgeous blossom ......

Isn't it showing promise for the Autumn.

The yellow laburnham is starting to flower too, so I'll be boring you with pictures of those soon...........
