I thought you'd like to see what the storms are like down here in the south western part of England. I know that the coastline of Wales is being battered really badly and in fact the whole of the west coast of the UK is suffering, and our Mickey lives on the west coast like me........

This gives you a snippet of what's going on. Mind you - the cold snap that is pervailing in the US is horrendous - I do hope all my friends etc who live in that tract of land affected by it, stays safe and is indoors in the warm. My love goes to you all here.

That is really bad Jenny I hope it soon goes down to a more manageable level.
Over here parts of our west coast close to Germany are used to flooding even in normal conditions but so far apart from the two Hurricanes have not seen anything like that.

No it seems to be mostly on the western sides of the UK, and so the strength of the tidal surge has certainly calmed down by the time it reaches the eastern side.

Bee Orchid

Bad all round; too much rain here, too much snow and freezing conditions in USA, and too much heat in Oz. On balance, I'll take the rain. Hope the weather improves for everyone very very soon.

Hey I can hear the wind and rain when I call you, so you're certainly getting your fair share of it too. It's probably a good thing that Mandi isn't here with her car, or else I'd be out there taking pictures and not a good idea in this weather
