I have bought a new compact camera because Mandi is using my Canon for herself. Rather than just use my Fujifilm which is too big to be popped into my pocket or bag, I decided that I really needed to buy a new compact camera.

I dithered about which one to choose and I eventually decided on the Olympus VR340. Now I managed to get it when it was on a special offer and I noted that it had a higher megapixel than my other one, also the zoom was so much bigger and better than any of my cameras. So there was no argument was there.....................

I tok a picture of Boo asleep infront of the fire, but the flash went off which it didn't need to - there was enough light from outside as well as the halogen heater.................

Well it certainly is crisper and clearer, so let's hope I'll get the hang of how it works as time goes on. I am so far extremely happy with it.

I've just ordered a hard case and a charger, complete with another battery, so I'll be off when I can with my new camera. Can't wait to try out the macro and the zoom lenses. Oh dear are you lot going to be bored out of your skulls. LOL
