Mandi and I have put the baubles on the tree....

For the first time in about 15 years, I've had help in decorating the tree for Christmas. Mandi and I went shopping today - to Asda, as she'd not bought any presents for Christmas and time is a running away.................

We trawled around the supermarket and I don't know about you - but supermarkets just before Christmas is not my idea of fun...............

Mind you - the decorations were on sale - which is normally after Xmas, so I bought some more gold baubles, forgetting that I actually needed silver........ooops....

So we eventually got home and like a sweetie, she carried all the bags in for me and we had a quick pizza and a cup of coffee.

Time to do the tree - I put the lights on it and the tinsel -



Then Mandi wanted to do the baubles and I had the unenviable task of putting the little hooks on all the new balls...................

I had wanted to do a gold and silver themed tree, but I can't find my silver tinsel etc, certainly not enough to do the tree with, so that's why I had to do red and gold........


In case you are wondering - yes that's Mandi - she's had her hair cut - it's shorter than I'm used to seeing her with - but it does suit her. She enjoyed doing it and I think she's done a good job personally.





I think we might have to have another look at it tomorrow and probably put some more baubles on it - it's not full enough!!!

I'm afraid I won't be on here much tonight, as I am so tired and we are sorting out decorations etc.

I thought I'd just show you Mandi in her new onesie - she's all snuggled up in it and it keeps her warm.............


and Boo is so happy to have her mummy home again..............


Okay folks, that's all for the minute. Mandi is waiting for Dogan to Skype her, he's sort of doing it, but the webcam isn't working his end and his friend is trying to fix it, but they've had a few Raki's so we don't know how long it'll be!!!!! LOL
