Well today is an unusually warm day, for September I mean. The sky has at last become blue, I've got a wash drying on the line, which hopefully will be dry because my tumble dryer has given up the ghost. NOT a good time to do that - only 3 days before I go away!!!!! Still there is a slight wind and the sun is warm, so there's no reason why the washing shouldn't dry perfectly.

Pippin was enjoying himself on the chairs outside on the driveway, stretching himself in all sorts of contortions, as only cats can!! and only wanted his tummy rubbed to make his day complete. He's already seen off Tripod, after a lot of hissing and yowling, Tripod eventually hopped off up the drive. His tail wasn't between his legs, because he needs it standing out to give him balance!!!! LOL

Anyway I thought I'd just take a few last pictures of the flowers which are all virtually gone over, except the nasturtiums which are amazing with their colours.....

There are about 4 cornflowers still blooming, which is amazing considering there wasn't any plants showing earlier on in the year............

The bud from a couple of days ago has now opened up and this gorgeous peachy rose is out and the scent is superb.

Finally the purple toadflax is still going strong, despite the wind having broken many of their stalks.
