Well I managed to go a few days without making another octofloop, but I couldn't resist. So I found some spare material and started to make this cuddly octofloop. Apparently the daughter of Emily calls it an "offalop" but I couldn't remember the name so I call it an octofloop instead!!!!

Anyway, it didn't take much time for me to cut the various shapes and I went and found another bag full of stuffing - so I set off to make it.....

This is the deflated body with 8 stuffed round legs. Mind you, when I'd finished cutting it - I remembered why I had stopped using this material - it's a swine to handle. It's gorgeously soft but it keeps on sliding which means it's difficult to make sure that the sides are equal.....

I bought a new "stuffing needle", which means I can now stuff toys etc more easily, especially in tiny spaces.

After I'd finished him - I realised that I'd put his mouth a bit to the side - oh well - it's unique and so I can get away with it!!!!

I was going to donate it to a hospital for a young child to cuddle - but as my neighbour, Anne, has got a very young grandson - 11 months old - I thought I'd give it to him. So I'll just have to make another one for the hospital!!!!!
