Well it goes without saying doesn't it? I'm so proud of the people my children have become. Today it's Tony who's started me off again. When he was a teenager, he'd wanted to do media work, but being a single mum, I couldn't afford to send him to the Higher College, so he only did the basics and then went on to work for an insurance company and eventually as a Customs Officer for 25 years. Then he was made redundant and he took this opportunity to go back to College (at 48 years of age) and at the end of his first year there, he was awarded the Pupil of the Year!!! Well this afternoon he told me that he's been awarded Pupil of the Year again!!!! Also he's just won the Leadership award too. He's been helping other students to do their work, as he's the "old man"!!! He's been offered a job at the College to be a tutor at the end of his course. He's doing one more year and at the end of it, he'll have a University Degree !!!! Wow to me that's simply amazing.

Okay folks, I just wanted to tell you all about my brilliant news today.
