This is just going to be a short one. We've had very high winds - almost up to 90mph gusts and one of its gusts took my roof off the outside porch!!! Unfortunately while it was obviously tugging at the roof, it scratched against the wall and so I've got paint missing in places!! Great.

I think it's about 30 years since my front door has actually faced the elements of the weather.

I hadn't realised that my neighbours, Peter, Anne and Richard had tidied it all up, the windows had completely come out and smashed onto the patio and over the flower pots, and between them, they'd cleared it all up. It was only the next day as I walked down the hallway, did I realise that I could see daylight through the front door. So I immediately rang them to thank them for doing it for me. What would I do without these fabulous people?
