I had to go to the doctor's surgery Monday morning to have my dressings changed. Usually it's either Anne or Yvonne who drive me, but on Monday both were away and so I drove myself. Oh it was good being able to do what I wanted. Well I had the dressings changed and I must say - it's looking much better, not so angry. The pharmacy had delivered a crate full of bandages etc early in the morning to my home - hells teeth, how long do they think this leg is going to take to repair itself. I'm also taking very strong antibiotics, so that's probably why my leg is getting better.

After I'd had the re-dressings done, I left the surgery and could see that the sun had decided to visit us after so long, and I thought it would be good to see something apart from my indoors and my sewing. So rather than going all the way down to the beach, my leg was complaining anyway - I thought I'd take a couple of shots from the hill overlooking the Burrows park land.

This is a similar view to the one from my doctor's surgery......

I mean - can you imagine having that view every day? These houses do - lucky beggars......

You can just make out the hotel in the distance - it's called Saunton Sands Hotel, and it overlooks the large sweep of bay from just below the hotel right to the end of the dunes. It's a beach of around 3 miles - a fantastic sight.

Well Westward Ho! looked so nice - well worth a quick glance along from the top road. I could do what I wanted to do as I was driving my own car, but to be honest it did irritate my leg somewhat - and I've been suffering it ever since. Not to worry though - I go again tomorrow!!!!
