Today at long last, we had beautiful blue sky and a WARM breeze - I could not believe it - it's been so cold for ages - that today was the first stirrings of summer - I hope.

I went to collect the last lot of my prescriptions and get a few things for Mandi for her kitties and on the way back home I did my 'eeny, meeny, miny mo' thingy to see whether I would be going straight home or to the beach - the beach won LOL

With a sky like this - a warm breeze, it was too nice not to sit on a bench on the beach and just watch what was going on around me.......

As you can see it was almost empty - but there were a few families enjoying the sun - and imagine my surprise when from the beach below me up popped something I thought was dead and buried. It has always been a joke that you can always tell an Englishman abroad, by him wearing a handkerchief on his head, trousers turned up half way up his legs and sandals and socks. Well the only thing he didn't have was his trousers turned up..........

I had to be careful not to laugh - wouldn't want to upset them. Then I spotted a lovely blow-up baby raft .....

The tide was out so the baby didn't have it in the water.......

There was quite a lot of beached boats.......

and the view from this apartment block must be wonderful..........

Eventually I decided that it was time for me to go home, so joining up with all those poor souls driving home after a long hard day's work, I drove home.

Meeting my eyes when I arrived home was this glorious array of colour.......

Then Pippin was lying on top of a pile of weeds which were drying out, no wonder he scratches sometimes - goodness knows what's crawling around in those weeds etc. So back home, a lovely break in the day from my normal undertakings. Hope you all have had a great day too.
