I've got some indoor flowers too......

On my kitchen window sill I have got three plants - two are flowering, the other one has decided to stop flowering this year.

One of them is a gorgeous white rose which was given to me by Mandi as a Mother's Day pressie. For a few years it only gave me one bloom, then last year I had 3 blooms, but this year ...... I've got 7....... it's exceeded itself







As you can see - it's a glorious creamy white. The problem with white is you can't really see the varying shades with the petals and light..........

Then I have an amarylis plant which is the one refusing to submit itself with flowers..

and then the Easter Cactus, although it's well past Easter, it's just started to flower and it's a glorious bright orange........







As you can see there are lots of buds on it and it's a glorious orange - a veritable splash of colour.

Not much else to report here really. Ever since I did that spraying and cutting the lawn, my back has decided to play silly bu**ers and hot water bottles are being really good for it. Luckily [?] it's not warm so having a hot water bottle doesn't make me too hot. Mandi is getting a good tan already, even though she spends a lot of her time in her home resting. Her two delightful kitties are spending most of the time indoors with her and they are becoming very affectionate.



Alfie loves his cuddle time with Mandi - they both do really, but Alfie always makes sure he gets his time in first.........


Now isn't this a picture of contentment - Billy snoozing away in comfort........


He loves watching tv and even tries to catch the ball when the sport is on..........

But they both love to be together for a good sleep - they're very close brothers....
