f/16, the unloved f-stop, is far more useful than we give it credit for.

I have to say I shoot at f/16 a lot - I'm using film, and often can't preview the image. Old camera focusing systems can be off or imprecise. With f/16, I'm pretty sure it's all going to be acceptably in focus!

Stimmt, wenn nicht ein sehr hoch auflösender schwarz/weiß Film verwendet wird spielt die Beugungsunschärfe noch keine Rolle.

Interessanter Artikel. Tatsächlich bemühe ich mich (bislang) die Blende möglichst nicht unter f13 kommen zu lassen - wg. des vorausgesagten Unschärfe-Effekts. Nur bei Langzeitbelichtungen bzw. ICMs schließe ich die Blende noch erheblich mehr bis f29 ... die Ergebnisse sind dann aber auch entsprechend "blurred". F16 hab ich noch nie versucht, werde das nun aber testen.
