A couple days ago, I had a very rude user of Fl*ckr tell me this about Ipernity: "No one uses it and they haven't made any effort to develop the site." How arrogant that statement was! First off, I'm not a nobody. I am someone. I use Ipernity. Therefore, someone uses Ipernity. I have made a lot of good friends on here, and obviously, they use Ipernity as well.
And as far as Ipernity not being developed - of course it's developed. We wouldn't be able to use it if it weren't developed. And if that rude Fl*ckr person means developed like Fl*ckr has been developed - no thanks, I'll pass. I'd prefer a photo-sharing site that actually works and the people are a lot more friendlier than that.

(If they are, I want to avoid them !)
I came here to Ipernity because that other place was being developed in a way, that as a photographer, I didn't like. I find the vast majority of people here are very friendly, helpful and Ipernity responds to tickets.
Like Alain says, it serves it's use for photo storage, but I'd far rather be connecting on a site that has quality over quantity.
