I am at work and just giving you a quick update. Here at work there is no problem. Surrounding areas and by my home (most of NJ) has no power yet. Gets a bit chilly taking a shower with no heat! We sustained only minor damage to the roof of our home. Nothing that can't be fixed. But hopefully will be before the next rain! They expect us to be without power for upwards of 2 weeks. Well our Governor called a State of emergency. Meaning no State offices, public transport or schools would be open. He hasn't made it mandatory for private business to close, but he may have to. My Rick went to see an Allergist today. He has had trouble in the fall so we thought we'd finally see exactly what he's allergic to. For my newer friends he had congestive heart failure due to a virus that invaded his heart just under 2 years ago. His ejection factor was down to 12(very bad) and he was hospitalized for 2 weeks in serious condition.. Unfortunately it's not quite as peak color as the weather people said! Once again the fall short of accuracy! The color was hit or miss. One minute you'd see all green and sort of dull yellow.. What I actually DO wear! My leather jacket is not a regular style MC jacket.. It's one I had.. No need to buy one...Yet.. And I don't have a pic of that.. These I do as I copied them out of the online catalog I bought them from.. But I do wear a vest in the turning weather. Same for the gloves.. Boots are always.. And the chaps are in the mail for the turn of the seasons! And YES I DO wear Jeans with my Chaps! LOL! I don't want to scare people!

A Harry Potter Wand from Wynott's Wands! My daughter went to Salem Massechusetts this week and they had a wand shop! She sent a picture of the shop and I told her I wanted one.. I was crazy in love with Mighty Mouse when I was 5.. I wanted to marry him.. I didn't know you couldn't marry a cartoon. Or a mouse for that matter. Since we were just talking about recipes and cookbooks on Max's page I have a question. Does anyone have a good old fashioned, easy to make, Date nut bread recipe? They canceled my daughters trip to Tokyo.. She's not very upset as it fell on her and my husbands birthday.. Plus she wouldn't have known anyone on this trip.. For those of you who I am newly friends with, my daughter works for an international logistics company as a "Key Account" manager. Meaning, I think, she works all the time.. They are supposedly grooming her for upper management. She's been there 6 1/2 years now. They finally promoted her to management about 21 months ago.
