A nice Thanksgiving..

Well at least I had one! Everything went well.. All the food was easily handled as I'd done most work yesterday. The 6 of us enjoyed all.. My daughter called in the evening just to say Happy Thanksgiving. She wasn't very happy with her Chicken sandwich for her Thanksgiving dinner... And she was homesick.. Till she saw Big Ben! For some reason that seems to have made her feel better! And apparantly the Sun has come out at least for a bit.. They do look cold but it appears to be sunny..
All in all everything went well. I'm tired but everything is washed and put away. Lots of leftovers too! :-)
Now tomorrow it's on to the next holiday! Time to decorate for Christmas! Hope everyone enjoyed today!

Oh dear how awful for Amanda - being made to feel uncomfortable like this, especially so far from home. I'm sure she could have found a restaurant somewhere in London which sold better food than a chicken sandwich!!! I hope she enjoys the rest of her holiday here. She spent a lot of money coming over here, so she mustn't let this other girl spoil it for her. I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving despite everything.

Thanks Jenny.. She's trying to make the best of it.. I told her not to let the girl spoil the trip for her..She did spend a lot of money..And it is beautiful there! It's too bad the girl is being like this.. The guy is well, just being a guy! He's not done anything wrong.. He is trying to be extra nice to my girl as I imagine he's not stupid and gets at least some clue what is what... Also part of the problems is as much as she enjoys the travel and all..She's a home girl! Especially with our Holidays!
