On the Art of Governing
There is an old German saying that translates as follows:
«The ability to please everyone is a
talent that no one possesses.»
Every one of us has experienced this truth
at one point in our lives,
either personally or through the experiences of others.
How can - one - person
govern a society of 1.2 billion members
to the satisfaction of everyone ?
One can only have pity on
such a person.
- He is overwhelmed -
by such demands.
We will see – how the Catholic
leadership ranks now move forward.
They could attempt something like:
"Glasnost - perestroika"
Openness - Reform
There is another old German saying:
« God helps those who help themselves »
