I could never believe that a sunset could be in b and w and look so beautiful. I was just trying it out. What do you think?

Photos taken yesterday as we celebrated le gallet du Roi!

I got new lens (Nikon 18-200mm) for my birthday and I went out to town to try it out. I made a few mistakes, but all in all, I was quite happy!

Just a few impressions on an afternoon out in town.

The atmosphere was lovely along the beach! I was lucky to have been there!

Menton, famous for it's lemon festival is crowded at present. It was a pleasure to take photos, but the chances of getting good photos is not easy! I was pushed around, with people always getting in my way, but then that's the fun of it all - to try and

I love this garden and visit it several times a year. I see flowers I have never seen before and that's what's facinating!

I'm learning how to compose landscapes! This was a try!

This used to be a hotel in the old days, but now converted to appartments. It is decorated both outside and inside as you can see from the photos. This building belongs to the "Belle Epoch" and one can still imagine how people used to live in these times.

This is the time of the year when all the white flowers are out and what a lovely scent when I go into the garden!

I'm learning how to take still life in various ways, using a lamp or natural light, with or without reflectors and how they effect the shots! Enjoying myself!
