I took these photos recently, as I had the fly on the rose climber on the other side of the balcony. It didn't move for ages and I took over 100 photos of her. The problem was that it's face was on the other side, so I couldn't get it's eyes, which is important. At the end it moved to another branch and I could shoot a couple with it's eyes. It was right against the sun, so I had to try to get it from the side so that I could get the colour and the details. I was pleased as to how they came out. I wonderd why it was there for so long and think that it was drinking the sap from the recently cut stalk. What a lovely experience I had!
