I'm sure we prefer one or the other, although we use both of them. Personally, I cannot do without my macro lense. I feel I come closer to life when I get closer to my subject, to find beauty in the details. That's the way I paint too, and that's what I like about macro. When I have my wide angle, I always feel I have to zoom in! What do you like to use? And why?
