I pray ipernity never goes the route of Flickr in recent days. I expect you will be having droves of ex-flickr fans joining Ipernity in the days and weeks ahead, recognizing its simplicity and ease of use.
To have a flavour for what has been going on at Flickr, where I have (had) about 5,500 images gathered over six years, go take a look at
www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157633547442506/
which will give you an idea of the strength of feeling generated by the antics of the web designers now controlling Flickr. There has been an adverse comment posed on their feedback site once every 2.9 seconds for the past thirty hours or so!
I hope Ipernity is up to managing the influx...I will be moving my portfolio over steadily over the next few weeks and I am looking forward to being part of Iperntiy in the future.

Coldwaterjohn club has replied to Christine ValinIf you can bear to wade through all the vitriol this change has occasioned, have a look at Flickr's feedback link, which you'll find here. There are now 298 pages of overwhelmingly adverse comment - probably the greatest revolt against a website design change in internet history.
I see that Flickr staff have now closed this particular feedback - they will have realized that the objections were not going to fade away...http://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157633547442506/page298/
