Pela primeira vez estive em Berlim por uma semana. Antes de partir as minhas expectativas eram tão elevadas que senti que alguma desilusão poderia esperar por mim. Engano! De regresso a casa posso dizer que Berlim actualmente, se não é a melhor, é uma das cidades mais bonitas e infra-estruturadas da Europa. Após a sua destruição durante a II Guerra Mundial e o ignomioso abandono a que parcialmente foi votada debaixo da dominação Soviética, os Berlinenses foram capazes de redesenhar e reconstruir a cidade subordinada ao princípio dum completo respeito pela natureza, o ambiente, a cultura e a arte, nomeadamente uma espantosa arquitectura. O progresso e a qualidade de vida são permanentemente exibidas aos visitantes.

For the first time I have been in Berlin for one week. Before traveling my expectations were so big that I felt some kind of disillusion might wait for me. Wrong! Back home I can say nowadays Berlin if not the best is one of the most beautiful and infra-structured cities in Europe. After its destruction during the II World War  and the ignominious abandonment partially kept under the Soviet domination, the Berliners were enable to redesign and reconstruct their city under the whole principle respect for the nature, the environment, the culture and art, namely concerning its astonishing architecture. The progress and quality of life are permanently shown to visitants.
