Gehe ich richtig in de Annahme, dass dabei Deine einzelnen Bilder bei IP nicht gesichert oder down geloadet werden, sondern höchstens der link zu IP...????

Alle Ordner, die dort sind, habe ich ohne Sicherung dort. Richtig.
Meine Fotos zu Hause sind mehrfach daheim gesichert. Bei einem IP Crash hätte ich ein kleines Problem, wobei das eh das Ende dort wäre

Ich habe alle Bilder, die ich bei IP gepostet habe, vorher verkleinert, speichere sie auf dem Laptop in einem extra Ordner und habe diesen mehrfach auf externe Festplatten gesichert (wie meine sämtlichen Fotos). Georeferenzierungen mache ich nicht über IP, sondern vorher in Geosetter, sofern nicht sowieso GPS-Daten im Bild sind.

Man könnte theoritisch die bei IP geposteten Fotos auch in Unterordner entsprechend den Alben unterteilen, auch Stichworte lassen sich Fotos schon vor dem Hochladen zuweisen. Ich mache das nicht, weil ich nach Panoramio festgestellt habe, dass ich die dort geposteten Fotos eh nicht mehr in der damailigen Form, wenn üerhaupt, wiederveröffentlichen wollte.

Es wäre sehr schön und nützlich, wenn uns dazu jemand von IMA weiterhelfen würde.

Die letzte Nachricht vor vielen Monaten, die ich von Bergfex dazu hatte, war, dass ein solches Download-System auf der Prioritätenliste schön langsam immer weiter nach vorne gewandert ist.
Danach ist er aus dieser Diskussion ausgestiegen, weil er nach den letzten Wahlen nicht mehr dafür zuständig sei.

William schreibt mir bei solchen Problemen stets, dass er sich bei seinen Fachleuten erkundigen muss, aber meistens enden solche Fragen dann aber darin, dass die IP Software dazu keine Antwort hergäbe.

Ich weiß, dass dieses Problem vielen usern sehr wichtig ist, da eine brauchbare Lösung bei nahezu allen anderen namhaften fotoplatformen vorhanden ist und diese Sicherungs Software auch hier bei IP von großer Wichtigkeit wäre.

Ich hoffe, unsere IMA's greifen dieses Thema alsbald mit hoher Priorität auf, um Mitglieder zu halten und Neue hinzu zu gewinnwn...

My recommendation is to try SeaMonkey browser and the "old and reliable" DownThemAll. I have written instructions in English for it here:

For me the first link opens your homepage, and maybe not what it does for you.

If you meant the 'Explore...' box on your personal 'News' view, then I still don't understand what you mean. At least I get more or less the same set of images on both.

DownThemAll war sehr gut, aber leider gibt es davon keine funktionierende Version mehr.
SeaMonkey kenne ich nicht...

I use Windows...

I use Windows as well. SeaMonkey is just as any browser, available to somewhat all operating systems, and works with the DownThemAll available from the source I advice on my blog article.

I have tried them on my work computer that has a strong virus protection, and the given combination worked just fine.

In the upper part you will see the summarized first 6 lines of the first page of the most popular photos at 12:46.
In the lower part you will see the first page itself at 12:52.
(I don't know how long it will take to synchronize this time when writing this)

The pages do not agree. Often it takes half an hour or more for this to be synchronized.

I have been observing this for a few weeks now. Sometimes also will not sync until the next refresh after two hours.

This is not good.

Udo, I tested the new versions of DownThemAll, but unfortunately they do not have support for required Metalinks used here at ipernity.

It means we are back at old recommendations:

3) Wait til the one fine day when we hopefully get ipernity reprogrammed.

Unfortunately that is all we can do at the moment.

I consider the creation of a download possibility of our data to be extremely important and I believe that it does not need to be linked to reprogramming.

Udo, I hope you do understand that all options have been and still are dependent on third party solutions. Christophe Ruelle and associates probably chose to use Metalink because it allows the access to full size images via one "link", instead of going through all individual links for each image.

However, Metalink, DownThemAll, and any of the available browsers are not under our control. We can only express our wishes for the developers of those services and software. Earlier versions of DownThemAll stopped working on Firefox because for example Metalink approach was no longer allowed by browser developers.

In short it really means that the only solution is to use browser and DownThemAlll versions old enough, which still allows Metalink.

But surely we can try to find other solutions before reprogramming. Unfortunately there is currently no resources (skills, money, and time) on our team to do that.

Then how important one finds the album download, is in my opinion a subjective matter. You say it is extremely important, but others may not think that way. For example I have original images already on my computer anyway. So, therefore I have no need to get my ipernity albums downloaded. But I do understand that people who have done a lot of online PicMonkey editing may wish to have a possibility to get backups. So, we have now done our best to offer alternative ways to do so. If you are not happy with any of them, then all I can be is sorry.
