Another Latest Newsflash from the ima.

Dear members and friends of ipernity!

1) We apologize that ipernity was temporarily unavailable last Saturday. A recently requested renewal of the website security certificate had not been executed technically. Resolving this problem in the early hours of a Saturday was a big challenge for the team but we succeeded and downtime was minimized. With regard to another dysfunction (concerning the payment service Skrill) you'll get a separate information soon.

2) In January, ima will settle the last debt on Amazon Web Service (AWS). Together with the recognition of all old subscriptions at the beginning of December, ima will be cleared of any financial obligations then. For 2018, this leaves room for urgent software projects to be commissioned.

3) Furthermore we have cleared the data-base of the oldest of the orphaned accounts now. Approximalety 160,000 accounts, which had not been used for more than three years, were deleted. In this context, it is possible that contributions from your groups have disappeared. However, the more than 12.5 million images of club accounts and regularly used free accounts remained untouched.

4) The number of members continues to develop very satisfactorily. Since the beginning of December, we have seen a net increase of 29 subscriptions. Of these, half (+16) were from free users as a result of the Christmas offer, 12 of them were new subscriptions. Details see here: www.ipernity.com/doc/team/46127346

We thank you for the growing confidence.
