My ex sent me a frantic email this morning. No idea how, but he’s managed to accidentally credit my bank account with £8,000! Now, if I was the ‘mean’ sort, and not afraid of a little trouble, I could deduct what he still owes me, then transfer the remainder back to him. I confess, I briefly toyed with this option but it’s really not worth the trouble and bad feeling it will cause. It’s a shame that my account pays little or no interest as I could have earned a little money from his error. Oh well. I did have a little ‘fun’ with him by replying to his initial email with ‘OMG I’m rich! Lol’
Oh the things I could do with that much money… ;)

Still you did get a little fun out of it
Summer - he had a year's salary in one lump sum for taking redundancy, mainly this is why I'm cross that he hasn't paid me the full amount of maintenance that he owes me. Oh well, some people just have no conscience.
