I posted some photos of my limited plant collection, and some descriptions however this is more detailed. The bluebells are ‘native’ to the garden, along with the fatsia japonica – thanks Jenny. The rest are my plants and consist of: Large 23-year-old Japanese Azalea, large flowering shrub – unknown though I suspect it’s an azalea – it was bought cheaply from a garden centre ‘reject’ trolley as it badly needed love and attention, a hellebore – free from a garden centre as it was in poor shape, aquilegia – not doing so well since the move, 2 pots of lavender – 3 plants in all.
Sempervivum – evicted from the house due to small flying bugs that were driving us crazy.
Herbs: rosemary, parsley, chives, marjoram – love this herb! It was in a flower bed at the previous house and I potted it on, so I could keep some, thyme, bay – a cutting from my kid sister that’s thriving. The parent plant is an enormous thing growing just outside of her back door.
Fruit: Blackberry, raspberry – both young plants, quince, tayberry – large fruit, like a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry, free from a friend. 3 blueberry plants – youngest plant is doing well with a lot of flowers, oldest and biggest plant has not many flowers on it, the middle plant seems to have gone overboard on new growth and leaves but has very few flowers. It’s likely we won’t get many blueberries this year.
So, that’s 35 pots lol, though 16 of those are small pots. The previous garden, I had around 50 pots, and 3 small beds with flowers and iris bulbs. Mind you, it was about 4 times the size of this garden, and it had a front garden too along with off-road parking. The front garden contained a spirea shrub and hydrangeas, all bought as small plants though too big to pot on and bring with me, and lavender plants, and lily bulbs, along with a very small lawn area. I miss that garden, though the house? Not so much. If I moved back to Wales, I could potentially move back to it however the front steps up to the road level were an issue then and would be again – too steep and uneven too.
I left some unusual mint varieties that I wish I’d brought with me, and I also left small pots that would have been useful here. I bought all the large plant pots (expensive to replace), and saucers - these are sheltering under the patio table. I did contemplate growing tomatoes here though I don’t think the garden can take any more pots. The dog needs room too. Maybe next garden…
Since the move, I’ve discovered that I left the step ladder in the shed – bummer, the drill under the stairs – good grief, and I’ve mislaid some clothes of mine including trousers and a lovely shawl my kid sister had bought for me. Every house move I seem to ‘lose’ something. During the previous move, I lost some china serving dishes. With my memory it’s equally possible that I gave things away, or donated to a charity shop, though obviously, can’t recall LMAO. The problems of moving to a new house with little or no help – my son was away studying. There are some boxes here that we haven’t opened, though according to the labels, they contain a dinner service (a posh one) and decorative plates that I really should sell but never get around to. One day…
Still sleeping pretty well, despite the neighbour’s best efforts, lol, and hopefully, my short-term memory will improve as my sleep patterns improve too. I can but hope. Bizarrely, I discovered this week that the prescription meds I’m on have been reclassified as a ‘schedule 3 controlled drug’ and that I have to sign, twice, for them. How weird is that? Oh well, they’re working, and I have no side effects and hope to take them for a few months only to calm down my peripheral neuropathy. Just call me junky LOL
I hope too that this dreadful weather will improve soon. It feels like weeks since we had any decent, prolonged sunshine and I’m slowly but surely working my way up to wearing 4 layers again. This morning, Wednesday, it was a mere 6c here; it should be warmer than that by now.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

Your garden sounds great! I will check the pictures out shortly. I haven't had herbs ever but we used to plant veggies in the back. Now we do flowers only in front and back.

Another thought - maybe your missing clothes etc are in the box you haven't opened. Maybe you put them in there as an afterthought and have forgotten!! Wouldn't that be a nice surprise if you find more things in that unopened box? LOL
