No Milk Today
Graham Gouldman of 10CC once played bass for the Mindbenders, among his songwriting partners was Tim Rice. Graham wrote "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul" for the Yardbirds, "Bus Stop" and "Look Through Any Window" for the Hollies and for Herman's Hermits "Listen People" and "No Milk Today".
Manchester's Hermit's Hermits (Peter Noone, Barry Whitham, Keith Hopwood, Karl Green and Derek Lackenby) and producer Mickie Most gave us some of the most clean cut sounds the sixties ever rendered. "No Milk Today" came from the 1967 album "There's a Kind of Hush" and reached the top forty although it was never released in the United States as an A side.
