I had so much respect for this man's talent, his personality, humour and his diverse music. Roger Miller's 1966 LP "Words and Music" lead single "Husbands And Wives" reached number five Country, number two on the Adult Contemporary charts as well as getting to number twenty-six on the pop listing.

The duo of (Kix) Brooks and (Ronnie) Dunn covered "Husbands And Wives" on the 1998 album "If You See Her". With a lead vocal by Ronnie Dunn the issue topped the Country chart and peaked at number thirty-six on the Top One Hundred. This record was a true "country" crossover.
