Faces (lead vocals Ronnie Wood, Kenny Jones, Ian McLagan and Ronnie Lane) issued the single "Ooh La La" (Ronnie Lane - Ronnie Wood) from the 1973 LP of the same name. Rod Stewart and Ronnie Lane both tried singing lead but didn't were accepted. This, without the participation of Rod Stewart, was the last track on the group's final studio album.
"Ooh La La" was the lead single from the Rod Stewart 1998 album "When We Were The New Boys". This was the first Rod Stewart LP not issued on vinyl. The single squeaked into the Billboard top forty at number thirty-nine.
